It's strange that until the first few minutes of the film, I never saw the connections between Carver and his peanut-shaped followers. okay, that was just whack!īobby's attempted singing of the National Anthem and LPDZ performing at the end were all that saved the last third from sending the movie into a freefall.

And the final battle scene between Penny and Carver on top of the blimp. It just seemed to keep disrupting the flow of the movie. Carver preparing to feed the rest of the Prouds and the good Carver to that creature got annoying. this is where the constant flipping between Penny and her friends learning of the clones and racing to island AND the evil Dr. Probably shoulda seen it coming considering what happened to Da Boom Crew. It started to sulk in the final bit, when the action really started to pick up. was funny for the first five minutes, and then it got annoying.

Maybe it's because he was given the most attention, from becoming a big fan of hot dogs to showing up Wizard Kelly! Trudy's clone trying to talk like a teen. Even with the 'clone' story, I really dug Oscar's clone a lot. Carver having trouble keeping his nose on. the in-fighting between Penny and Oscar, Penny's continuous unsuccessfulness at driving (including later on in the movie), Dr.
Most of the good stuff was in the first hour. Unoriginality aside, the movie met my expectations, but sure as heck didn't try to pass them. I give this movie about a 2.5 or a 3 outta 5.Ī movie that I had mediocre expectations of coming in, especially regarding the unoriginal plot. It's not nearly as good as as Kim Possible: So the Drama, but I guess Proud Family fans will like it more than I did. So this is the conclusion to the Proud Family. She says she doesn't kiss on the first date but as soon as he seems to share some similar situations with her, she kisses him. Atleast he told Suga Mama to for once respect him near the end of the movie. Well, Oscar's not bashed nearly as much in this movie. Now it has all these wacky, over the top situations. It seemed like it started off being about Penny facing everyday situations, such as conflict with her parents, peer pressure, etc. This movie also reminded me how much the show had strayed away from how it was in the beginning. Nothing special and I wasn't expecting much to begin with. Well, for lack of better words this movie was just "okay".
